Cowboys Beat Bucs To Advance To Divisional Round
The Dallas Cowboys are notching their first road playoff win in 30 years. They beat the Buccaneers 31-14 Monday night in Tampa behind five total touchdowns from quarterback Dak Prescott. Dallas secured the victory despite four missed extra points by its kicker. The team will now visit the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s NFC divisional round matchup.
Divisional Round Set
The Divisional Round gets started on Saturday with the Jaguars at Chiefs followed by the Giants and Eagles in Philadelphia. The Bengals will battle the Bills on Sunday afternoon ahead of the Cowboys-Niners matchup.
Sean Payton Would Consider Texans Job
Sean Payton is keeping all of his options open for next season. The former New Orleans Saints head coach said that he would “absolutely” consider coaching the Texans in 2023. Payton said that there is “growth potential immediately” with the Texans after they won just three games this past season. On Monday, Payton confirmed on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” that he has meetings this week with Houston, Denver and Carolina this week.
Harbaugh To Remain At Michigan In 2023
Jim Harbaugh will remain the head football coach at the University of Michigan in 2023. University president Santa Ono tweeted yesterday that Harbaugh told him the “great news,” and he has shared it with athletic director Warde Manuel. The coach had spoken with the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos in the NFL about their head coach openings.

Big Fourth Quarter Propels Bucks Past Pacers
The Bucks outscored the Pacers by 18 in the fourth quarter on the way to a 132-119 win at the Fiserv Forum. Jrue Holiday scored a season-high 35 points and dished out 11 assists for his third straight double-double. Bobby Portis added a double-double of his own with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo [[ YAHN-iss ah-dedo-KOON-bo ]] missed his third straight game with left knee soreness. Milwaukee put an end to its’ two-game losing skid and improved to 28-and-16 with the win. Myles Turner led Indiana with 30 points while T.J. McConnell notched 29 off the bench in the loss. The Pacers have now lost four straight to fall to 23-and-22.
Warriors To Visit White House Today
The reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors are set to visit the White House later today. Superstar Steph Curry and company will meet with President Biden to celebrate their run from last season, when they defeated the Boston Celtics in six games. That marked the team’s fourth title in eight years. It’s also the Warriors’ first visit to the White House since 2016. They did not make the trip for their two titles won during the Trump administration.

MSU Falls Short Against #3 Purdue
Tyson Walker missed a long three-pointer at the buzzer as Michigan State fell short against third-ranked Purdue 64-63 in East Lansing. Walker dropped in 30 points to pace the Spartans, who fell to 12-and-6 on the season and 4-and-3 in the Big Ten. MSU hosts Rutgers on Thursday.
