The expected hot weather impacting the area, has caused some area schools to either move, push, back, reschedule, or even cancel some of their outdoor sporting events.
St. Joseph
- Thursday’s JV football game against Niles will kickoff at 8:00 p.m.
Lakeshore
- Lakeshore’s football game at Zeeland West moved to 6:00 p.m. (was a 5:00 p.m start). Thursday’s home soccer game against Edwardsburg has been cancelled.
Benton Harbor
- Thursday’s football game with Lawton has been moved to Friday at 6:00 p.m.
Berrien Springs
- The JV and varsity football games against Kalamazoo United have both been moved to Friday and moved to Berrien Springs High School Sylvester Stadium. The JV game will start on 5:00 p.m. on Friday and the varsity game will begin 40 minutes after the JV game concludes.
Edwardsburg
- Thursday’s home football game vs. Grand Rapids West Catholic will now be played on Frida at 7:00.
Watervliet
- The varsity football game against Brandywine on Thursday will be pushed back one hour and will kick off at 8:00 p.m.
Kalamazoo Central
- The varsity football game against Kalamazoo Loy Norrix will be played at 7:30 on Thursday instead of 5:00
Lawrence
- Thursday’s football game against Gobles is being pushed back 30 minutes and will start at 7:30 instead of 7:00 p.m.
South Haven
- Tonight’s football game with Dowagiac will be start at 8:00 p.m. Friday’s tennis match with Brandywine will start at 3:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m.
Plainwell
- The Plainwell football game on Thursday against Hamilton will start at 8:00 p.m.
Cassopolis
- Thursday’s football game at Allegan will start at 8:00 p.m.
