Hunter Coombs of Lawrence High School Football is our Sports Radio 1400 WSJM Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 20, 2015.
In the Tigers’ win over Marion, Hunter was 7 for 9 passing for 183 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, he carried the ball nine times for 90 yards and three more touchdowns.
Hunter is also a member of the basketball team, baseball team, and National Honor Society. In the classroom, he carries a 3.53 grade point average.
Other finalists for the week were Megan Sollman of South Haven Volleyball and Clare Lycan of Lawton Volleyball.
