Ross Vaickus of Decatur High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the weeks of January 13, 2019.
In the Raiders’ wins over River Valley and Eau Claire, Ross turned in a combined 27 points, 28 rebounds, and eight blocked shots.
Ross is also a member of the National Honor Society. In the classroom, he carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Ross is the son of Karen Vaickus of Decatur.
