Dylan Jergens of Howardsville Christian High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the weeks of January 28, 2018.
Dylan turned in 25 points, six assists, and five rebounds in a win over Potter’s House Christian. He followed that up with 28 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in a win over New Buffalo.
Dylan is also a member of the soccer, baseball, and golf teams at Howardsville Christian. In the classroom, he carries a 3.8 grade point average.
Dylan is the son of Tim and Tonya Jergens of Mendon.
Other finalists for the week were Matty Stambeck of Decatur basketball and MaKayla Moore of South Haven bowling.
