BOYS BASKETBALL
Lakeshore 55, Portage Central 41
The Lancers started the game on an 11-0 run and led throughout as they improve to 3-0 on the season. Lakeshore got 12 points apiece from JJ Bushu and Grant Gondrezick. Bushu added four assists with Gondrezick also pulling down six rebounds. Will Juday scored a game high 16 points in the loss for Central.

St. Joe 57, Mattawan 27
The Bears improve to 5-0 with the impressive win over the Wildcats. Michael Algyre and Troy Pratley each scored 11 points in leading the Bears. Andrew Foster led Mattawan with eight.

Howardsville Christian 55, Calhoun Christian 23
The Eagles had two players score in double figures as Jason Jergens poured in 36 points and Josh Parks finished with 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Benton Harbor 30, Michigan Lutheran 27
The Tigers took a one point lead into the half and managed to hang on for the three point non-conference win. Desrae Kyles led Benton Harbor with a game high 14 points, Jmya Jordan added eight. Stella Lyons scored 12 points in the loss for the Titans with Elise DeWeerd adding eight.

Niles 60, Berrien Springs 20
The Vikings took control early, jumping out to a 23-0 lead after the first quarter. Kamryn Patterson scored a game high 16 points for Niles, Alexis Rauch added 10. Kirsten Krause and Grace Constable each scored seven in the loss for the Shamrocks.

Bridgman 33, Decatur 26
Leading by two at the end of three quarters, Bridgman outscored the Raiders by five in the fourth to seal the win. Samantha Rydwelski led Bridgman with a game high 14 points. Decatur got ten points from Gwen Grosvenor.
