Lauren Kilgore of Bridgman/Buchanan High School Swimming is the WSJM Sports 
Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 18, 2016. Lauren won the 100 Back Stroke in a meet against Loy Norrix. Then at the Forest Hills Invitational, she won the 200 Individual Medley. In her 200 IM victory, her time broke the Forest Hills Invitational meet record and the Bridgman co-op swim team record.
Lauren is also a member of the Buchanan High School Spanish Club. In the classroom, she carries a 4.1 grade point average.
Lauren is the daughter of Shelly and Brian Kilgore of Niles.
Other finalists for the week were Britta Mollberg of Buchanan Volleyball, Cameron Rendo of Watervliet Football, and Anna Fischer of St. Joseph Cross Country.
