Skylar Crisenbery of Coloma High School Softball is Berrien County’s 
Student Athlete of the Week for the week of May 8, 2016. In a doubleheader sweep of Lawton, Skylar picked up both wins in the circle, striking out nine and allowing just two hits and no earned runs. The Comets then won the St. Joe Tournament with wins over Bronson, St. Joe, and Lakeshore. She pitched and won all three games, striking out nine and allowing just three earned runs.
Skylar is also a member of the Coloma Basketball team and National Honor Society. In the classroom, she carries a 3.81 grade point average.
Skylar is the daughter of Jason and Brenda Crisenbery of Coloma.
Another finalist for the week was Sarah McCoy of Lake Michigan Catholic Soccer.
