Nick Knowlton of Bridgman High School Basketball is Berrien County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of December 6, 2015. In the Bees’ win over Countryside Academy, Nick turned in 21 points, 11 assists, and nine steals. He followed that up with 20 points, 11 assists, 11 steals, and nine rebounds in a win over Parchment.
Nick was a Second Team All-State selection last year. He’s also a member of the Bridgman Golf, Tennis, and Baseball teams. In the classroom, he carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Nick is the son of Jeff and Amy Knowlton of Bridgman.
Other finalists for the week were Sam Burge of Brandywine Wrestling and Emily Witkowski of Michigan Lutheran Basketball.
