Ben Agay of Lake Michigan Catholic High School Track is Berrien 
County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of March 27, 2016. At the Bridgman Invitational, Ben won the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of :18.04 and won the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of :46.13. He also placed second in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of :26.21.
Ben is a Wendy’s High School Heisman State Finalist. He’s also a member of the Lake Michigan Catholic Football team and Interact Club along with being an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts. In the classroom, he carries a 3.91 grade point average.
Ben is the son of Milton and Michelle Agay of St. Joseph.
Other finalists for the week were Olivia Shinrock of St. Joe Softball, Melissa Swanson of Watervliet Track, and Lamarrius Smith of Watervliet Track.
