St. Joseph Girls’ Golf coach Ryan Walters is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Coach of the Year.
Coach Walters guided the Bears to a third straight Regional Championship and a 9th place finish at the Division 2 State Finals. They also won a sixth straight Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference Championship and a seventh straight SMAC West Division Championship. This past season, the Bears also captured the Lakeview and South Haven Invitationals.
