It appears the Detroit Lions will have a few players back for Sunday’s NFC North match-up in Minnesota.
Running back Joique Bell was back on the practice field yesterday for the first time since suffering a concussion almost two weeks ago against the Jets. Running back Theo Riddick, who was out last week with a hamstring injury, and cornerback Cassius Vaughn, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury, also practiced yesterday.
Coach Jim Caldwell says he may keep receiver Calvin Johnson out of Sunday’s as he continues to nurse a high ankle sprain. Johnson could be a game day decision.
