Lake Michigan College swept a MCCAA West Division doubleheader from Glen Oaks Community College Wednesday night.
In game one, the Lady Red Hawks held off the Vikings 73-65. Shalay Stevens led LMC with 22 points. Lexi Firovich added 14 for LMC and Madison Cameron finished with 12. With the win, the Red Hawks improve to 15-6 on the season and 7-1 in the MCCAA West.
The Lake Michigan College men ran off with a 104-65 win over Glen Oaks. After starting the game on a 12-2 run, the Red Hawks never looked back. Alec Brown poured in a game high 30 points for LMC, including seven 3 pointers. Kevion Morse and Labradford Sebree each finished with 15, Ja’Mare Washington added 12. The win lifts the red hawks to 16-5 on the season and 7-1 in the MCCAA West.
