Benton Harbor cruised to a 72-40 Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference non-division win over Gull Lake.  The Tigers opened a nine point lead after the first quarter and never looked back.  Curtis Dawson, Jaton Gunn, and Malik Hall each had 16 points for the Tigers who improve to 2-0 on the season.

Lakeshore 61, Battle Creek Central 47

Braden Burked scored 21 points while teammate Jimmy Gathright was close behind with 19 as Lakeshore beat Battle Creek Central 61-47

Kalamazoo Central 84, St. Joseph 26

Orland Little had 23 points for Kalamazoo Central in an 84-26 blowout win over St. Joe.  Mac Shimalunas led the Bears with 12 points.

Kysre Gondrezick’s game high 24 points helped Benton Harbor rally from a 24-21 halftime deficit to give the Lady Tigers a 62-48 win over Gull Lake.  Dennee Brown had 17 points and Kalabrya Gondrezick scored 13.

Lakeshore 67, Battle Creek Central 25

Lakeshore’s Morgan Kaiser was 8 of 12 shooting three pointers and finished with a game high 28 points as Lakeshore beat Battle Creek Central 67-25.   Taylor Wagner added 17 for the Lady Lancers.

Kalamazoo Central 55, St. Joseph 47

St. Joe was able to pull within 2 points of Kalamazoo Central with over 4 minutes to play but the Maroon Giants beat the Lady Bears 55-47.  Freshman Anna Fischer had 13 points to lead St. Joe while Robyn Priebe scored 11.
