WEDNESDAY’S RESULTS…

SOCCER
Michigan Lutheran 5, Lake Michigan Catholic 0
Max Plocher scored twice for the Titans. Lutheran also got goals from Alex Ritter, Andy Semenak, and Joel Roth.

Watervliet 4, Coloma 0
Nathan Isbrecht led the Panther offensive attack with two goals and an assist. Brennan Bornas also scored twice for Watervliet. The defensive effort of Robert Kraklau, Andrew Chisek, Eric Perez-Cruz, Dominic Mandujano, Alex Isbrecht, Mason Pennington and Ryan Knapp keyed the shutout performance for Watervliet. With the win, the Panthers improve to 7-5-2 on the season and 4-1-1 in conference play.

Bridgman 2, Brandywine 1
The Bees got goals from Gabe Belmontes and Aiden Ackerman. With the win, Bridgman improves to 4-1 in the BCS Conference and 9-5-1 overall.

Hartford 8, Eau Claire 0
With the win, Hartford improves to 9-1 and wins the Southwest 10 title. Miggy Cardoso scored three times for the Indians. Joel Soto added a goal and an assist.

Edwardsburg 3, Sturgis 1
Alex Carfi, Aaron Toms, and Anthony Castelucci each scored for the Eddies as they improve to 6-2-1 in the Wolverine Conference and 9-7-1 overall.

Lily Cashum finished with 18 kills, 39 digs, and one assist in the loss for the Lancers. Lakeshore also got 54 assists from Emma Myer and 15 kills, 22 digs, three blocks, and one ace from Sierra Ciesielski.

Portage Northern 3, St. Joe 0
Karly Klaer finished with six kills, 11 assists, and eight digs in the loss for the Bears.

New Buffalo 3, Covert 0
Mary Mayer led the Bison with 12 assists. Kira Arvanitis added five aces and two kills.

Parchment 3, Buchanan 1
The Panthers defeated the Bucks 25-12, 25-16, 17-25, 25-18. Josie West had six kills in the loss for Buchanan, Faith Carson added four kills and two blocks.

Taylor Bailey turned in four kills and one block in the loss for the Vikings.
