SOCCER
St. Joe 8,  Kalamazoo Central 0
Kaitlyn Yack scored twice for the Bears, Mikayla Ball added a goal and two assists. St. Joe outshot the Maroon Giants 18-0.


Coloma 2,  Saugatuck 0
Cali Grenon and Grace Gagliardo scored the Comets two goals, both of them assisted by Samantha Trousdale. Emma Watson notched her tenth shutout of the season, making nine saves in goal. The win lifts Coloma to 13-1-1 on the season.


Bridgman 5,  Comstock 2
Savanna Tate scored two of Bridgman’s five goals and assisted on two others.


Niles 4,  Battle Creek Central 0
Willow Brawley scored three of the Vikings’ four goals with Ally Crites adding a single score.


Hartford 5,  New Buffalo 0
The Indians got three goals from Abigail Lopez.


Bangor 5,  Cassopolis 3
The Vikings rallied from a 3-0 deficit to pull it out. Arlette Perez and Noemi Arevalo each had two goals and an assist for Bangor.

River Valley 9,  Michigan Lutheran 1 – Game 1
Leading 3-1, the Mustangs pulled away with three runs in the 5th inning and three more in the 7th. Matthew Schmidt struck out 14 Titans in picking up the win on the mound. Jordan Ramírez and Daniel Adams each singled in the loss for Lutheran.
River Valley 18,  Michigan Lutheran 0 – Game 2
Levi Strauss pitched a no-hitter over four innings in picking up the win for the Mustangs. At the plate, Matthew Schmidt doubled and tripled.


Kalamazoo Christian 3,  Watervliet 0 – Game 1
Kalamazoo Christian 14,  Watervliet 8 – Game 2
Christian opened the game with six runs in the top of the 1st inning and added seven more in the 2nd. Watervliet scattered 11 hits in the loss, including three each from Garrett Matthews and Dylan Lawson.


Decatur 11,  Mendon 0 – Game 1
The Raiders started strong with six runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Jakob Southworth picked up the win on the mound for Decatur, pitching five scoreless innings allowing just one hit. Justin Gale was 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs.
Decatur 9,  Mendon 3 – Game 2
Offensively, Justin Gale went 3-4 with four RBIs for the Raiders. Peyton Ebeling scored twice for Decatur. Travis Hunsberger allowed just four hits over six innings in picking up the win.

River Valley 21,  Michigan Lutheran 1 – Game 1
The Mustangs opened with six runs in the top of the 1st inning and three more in the 2nd. Madi Vollman drove in nine runs for River Valley. Taylor Bartley singled and doubled in the loss for Lutheran.
River Valley 21,  Michigan Lutheran 1 – Game 2
The Mustangs put the game away with 11 runs in the 3rd inning. Madi Vollman had four hits and five RBIs for River Valley.


Kalamazoo Christian 11,  Watervliet 2 – Game 1
Leading 5-2, Christian broke the game open with six runs in the 6th inning.
Kalamazoo Christian 8,  Watervliet 1 – Game 2
Christian pitching allowed the Panthers just two hits.


Bridgman 7,  Berrien Springs 0 – Game 1
Natalie McNeil went the distance in picking up the win for the Bees, allowing just one hit and striking out 14.
Bridgman 10,  Berrien Springs 0 – Game 2
The Bees scored two runs in the top of the 1st inning and continued to add on from there. Madelyn Oman drove in three of Bridgman’s ten runs.


Hartford 11,  Cassopolis 1 – Game 1
The Indians broke open a close game with six runs in the 3rd inning. Karly Manning got the win in the circle for Hartford, allowing just one run on three hits over five innings. At the plate, Megan Nelson went 3-4 for the Indians.
Hartford 16,  Cassopolis 0 – Game 2
Lainey Goodson pitched three scoreless innings in picking up the win for Hartford.


Decatur 13,  Mendon 11 – Game 1
The Raiders collected 25 hits with Makenna Keller going 5-6 at the plate, including a grand slam. Danielle Confer, Saray Gasca, and Morgan Hall each went 4-5. Keller drove in six runs for Decatur. Gwendolyn Grosevenor picked up the win in the circle.
Decatur 9,  Mendon 3
Mendon took an early 3-0 lead with three runs in the top of the 1st inning. It was a short lived lead as the Raiders responded with four runs in the bottom of the 1st and five more in the 2nd. Erika Debroka went 2-2 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored. Erika Debroka picked up the win for Decatur.
