WEDNESDAY’S RESULTS…

SOCCER
St. Joe 3,  Loy Norrix 0
The Bears got goals from Elle Pavlopoulos, Mikayla Ball, and Megan Corbe. Caitlyn Junk turned away all four shots she faced in goal.

 

Lakeshore 8,  Battle Creek Central 0
Johnna Hafling, Ella Jeske, Katelyn White, and Emily Waning each had a goal and an assist for the Lancers. Lauren Masterson, Lindsey Yack, Elliott de la Foret, and Johnna Hafling also scored for Lakeshore.

 

Lake Michigan Catholic 6,  Brandywine 0
Hattie Latham and Caroline Miota each scored three times for the Lakers. The win lifts Catholic to 10-1 on the season.

 

Kalamazoo Hackett 4,  Coloma 1
The Comets suffered just their second loss of the season. Coloma’s only goal came from Cali Grenon, assisted by Mackenzie Ecker.

 

Schoolcraft 6,  Watervliet 2
Emma Armstrong scores both goals for the Panthers with Vicki Smith assisting on one.

 

Edwardsburg 5,  South Haven 3
Hannah Coles scored all five goals for the Eddies, three unassisted. Jaleigh Walker and Shelby Ison each had an assist.

 

Hartford 5,  Bangor 0
The Indians got two goals from Abigail Lopez. Madison Hays finished with a goal and one assist.

Watervliet 5,  Constantine 1 – Game 1
The Panthers scored two runs in the 5th inning and two more in the 6th to pull out the win. Andrew Chisek and Dylan Lawson both collected a pair of hits for Watervliet. On the mound, Evan Hutchins picked up the win in relief.
Constantine 10,  Watervliet 4 – Game 2
Constantine set the tone early with three runs in the 1st inning. Andrew Chisek had a solid game at the plate in the loss with two singles and a double.

SOFTBALL
Watervliet 8, Constantine 1 – Game 1
The Panther offense scored in every inning but the 1st. Emalie Gitersonke had two singles while driving in two runs. Watervliet also got RBIs from Sabrina Klimkiewicz and Hannah Hart. Celina Klimkiewicz picked up the win in the circle, allowing just three hits over seven innings.
Watervliet 13, Constantine 1 – Game 2
The Panthers opened the game with five runs in the 1st inning. They added six more runs in the 3rd and two in the 4th. Natalie Knight and Emalie Gitersonke each drove in three runs.

 

Hartford 21,  Bangor 6 – Game 1
Megan Nelson had a big night for the Indians, driving in four runs. The 3rd inning proved to be the key part of the game when Hartford pushed seven runs across the plate. Lainey Goodson picked up the win in the circle for the Indians.
Hartford 12,  Bangor 0 – Game 2
Karly Manning pitched six shutout innings allowing just one hit in picking up the win for Hartford. Regan Sinclair and Mikenzie Chambers led the Indians at the plate with three hits each.
