FRIDAY’S RESULTS…

SOCCER
Lakeshore 3,  Paw Paw 3
The Lancers got goals from Lindsey Yack, Ella Jeske, and Skylar Haluch.

 

St. Joe 4,  Vicksburg 0
Courtney Koch and Megan Corbe each scored twice for the Bears. St. Joe outshot Vicksburg 14-3.

 

Lake Michigan Catholic 8,  New Buffalo 0
Holly Starr and Elena Proos each scored twice for the Lakers. Hayden Starr added a goal and two assists. The win lifts the Lakers to 11-1 on the season.

 

Bridgman 1,  Black River 1
Macie Williamson scored the lone goal for Bridgman.

 

 

 

BASEBALL
Coloma 4,  Watervliet 2 – Game 1
The Comets scored three runs in the 3rd inning to take a 3-0 lead. Watervliet pulled to within one with a two run 4th. Coloma sealed the win with an insurance run in the 5th. Matthews and Andrew Chisek both doubled in the loss for the Panthers.
Watervliet 5,  Coloma 2 – Game 2
With Watervliet leading 3-0, Coloma got a run back in the 4th inning to make it 3-1. The Panthers went on to plate two more runs in the 5th inning to secure the win. Andrew Chisek went the distance, striking out eight, to pick up the win for Watervliet. At the plate, Tommy Swanson collected a double and a single for the Panthers.

 

Bridgman 3,  Lawrence 1
The Bees took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. Lawrence scored once in the top of the 7th, but that’s as close as they could get. Bridgman took advantage of three Lawrence errors in picking up the win.

 

 

 

SOFTBALL
Berrien Springs 11,  Loy Norrix 1 – Game 1
Olivia Elliott drove in three of the Shamrocks’ 11 runs. Emily Knight picked up the win in the circle.
Berrien Springs 15,  Loy Norrix 5 – Game 2
The Shamrocks took control early with seven runs in the 2nd inning. Zoe Martinez collected two RBIs for Berrien Springs. Emily Knight went the distance in picking up another win in the circle.

 

Niles 11,  Buchanan 0 – Game 1
The Vikings set the tone with a seven run 3rd inning. Niles scattered 11 hits while limiting the Bucks to two.
Niles 16,  Buchanan 6 – Game 2
The Vikings opened the game with a six run 1st inning. Alea Fisher collected a double in the loss for the Bucks.
