BASEBALL
St. Joe 15, Battle Creek Central 0 – Game 1
Luke Richards, Manuel Villalobos, and Kaleb Parrett each drove in three runs for the Bears. Jack Veersma recorded ten strikeouts in picking up the win.
St. Joe 14, Battle Creek Central 3 – Game 2
Michael Garritano went 2-2 at the plate and scored four runs for the Bears. Also, Alexander Taylor scored three times for St. Joe. Trey Beauchamp and Cole Kilboy combined in throwing a four hitter.

 

Bridgman 11, Lake Michigan Catholic 2 – Game 1
The Bees scored nine of their 11 runs in the first two innings. Jayce Warren tripled and added two singles for Bridgman. Nate Necas struck out 12 in picking up the win on the mound.
Bridgman 15, Lake Michigan Catholic 0 – Game 2
Already leading 4-0, the Bees sealed the win with ten runs in the 3rd inning. Jared Russell drove in three runs for Bridgman. Dylan Reisig earned the win on the mound.

 

Watervliet 15, Martin 0 – Game 1
Garrett Matthews got the win on the mound for the Panthers, striking out all 12 batters he faced. Watervliet put the game away with nine runs in the 4th inning.
Watervliet 8, Martin 1 – Game 2
Freshman Andrew Chisek struck out ten over five innings in picking up the win.

 

Coloma 10, Gobles 0 – Game 1 (5 Innings)
Coloma 6, Gobles 3 – Game 2

 

 

SOFTBALL…
St. Joe 16, Battle Creek Central 0 – Game 1
The Bears opened the game with an 11 run 1st inning. Courtney Farrish drove in four runs for St. Joe. Courtney and Taylor Garey both homered. Izzy Rothrock picked up the win in the circle.
St. Joe 15, Battle Creek Central 0 – Game 1
Hannah Bachteal and Caroline Veine each scored three runs for the Bears.

 

Brandywine 11, Michigan Lutheran 1 – Game 1
The Titans’ lone run came in the top of the 3rd inning.
Brandywine 10, Michigan Lutheran 0 – Game 2
Clarissa Reckline doubled in the loss for Lutheran.

 

Watervliet 14, Martin 8 – Game 1
Emalie Gitersonke went 2-5 at the plate with a double, a single, and four RBIs. Celina Klimkiewicz got the win in the circle.
Martin 9, Watervliet 8 – Game 2
The Panthers pulled to within one with two runs in the 6th inning, but the rally fell short. Addison Riley drove in three runs in the loss.

 

River Valley 7, Hartford 6 – Game 1
Trailing 3-1, the Mustangs scored three runs in the 4th inning, one in the 5th, and two in the 6th to pull it out. Hartford scored three runs in the 6th, but it wasn’t enough. Lainey Goodson went 3-4 at the plate in the loss for the Indians. Madi Vollman got the win in the circle for River Valley.
Hartford 10, River Valley 8 – Game 2
The Indians appeared to seal the win with five runs in the top of the 6th inning, but River Valley scored six times in the bottom of the 6th to pull to within one. The Mustang’s rally attempt would end there. Karly Manning got the win for Hartford.

 

Bridgman 16, Lake Michigan Catholic 0 – Game 1
Bridgman 18, Lake Michigan Catholic 0 – Game 2

Maya Hunter and Mackenzie Hoecherl each scored twice for the Bears. Megan Corbe had three assists.
