
Wednesday afternoon, two Lakeshore High School student athletes signed national letters of intent to continue their athletic careers and two more made verbal commitments.
Dennis Jordan signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Northern Illinois University after graduation. Dennis said he was bombarded by numerous large schools but called Northern Illinois the perfect fit.
Taylor Joachim signed her letter of intent to play volleyball next year at The University of Colorado. She said after numerous letters and phone calls, she was glad to have found her home at Colorado.
Rachel Clem verbally committed to play softball at The University of Michigan Dearborn after she graduates from Lakeshore. After helping lead the Lancers to the Division 2 State Championship back in the spring, Rachel hopes to make it two in a row before joining the Wolverines.
Taylor Grashuis verbally committed to swim at Saginaw Valley State University next year. She said, based on the campus, team, and coaches, she knew right away that Saginaw Valley was the right place for her.
