Veteran center Ryan Kalil retired after the 2018 season, but on Monday he agreed to terms on a deal with the New York Jets reportedly for one year and $8.4 million.

Kalil spent 12 seasons with the Carolina Panthers, during which he was named a Pro-Bowler five times and was twice named a first-team All-Pro. The 34-year-old dealt with injuries in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, playing in just 14 games during that span, but remained healthy all throughout last year.

Kalil hasn’t signed an official contract yet, which is pending on him passing a physical.
