The All-National Women’s College Basketball honors have been handed out and former WSJM Sports Student Athlete of the Year Kysre Gondrezick has been named Player of the Year.
Kysre is a senior guard at West Virginia and helped lead the Mountaineers to a 21-6 regular season and a berth in the Women’s NCAA Tournament. She averaged 20 points and 4.7 assists per game this season. Her top performance of the season came against TCU when she finished with 30-points, nine assists, and four steals.
Through the end of the regular season, Kysre had tallied a career 1,372 points scored, 297 assists, 280 rebounds, and 120 steals.
