Karsyn Stewart of Bridgman High School Cross Country is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of October 21, 2018. Karsyn placed 5th overall at the Division 4 Regional Meet. She finished with a time of 19:57 which broke the Bridgman school record by 18 seconds.
Karsyn is also a member of the Bridgman Track team, Key Club, Interact Club, and DECA. In the classroom, she carries a 3.88 grade point average.
Karsyn is the daughter of Chad and Nichole Stewart of Bridgman.
Another finalist for the week was Sydney Briney of St. Joseph Volleyball.
