Jamane Smith of Coloma High School Wrestling is the WSJM 
Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of February 11, 2018. At Individual Regionals, Jamane won the 189 lb. Championship. He earned a technical fall in his opening match and followed that up with a major decision in the semi-finals. Jamane then won the title by pinning his opponent at the 4:23 mark. With the wins, he improved to 50-0 on the season.
Jamane is also an All-Conference member of the Comet Football team.
Jamane is the son of Nicole Washington and Jamane Smith, Sr. of Benton Harbor.
Other finalists for the week were Seth Margaritis of New Buffalo Basketball, Kayla Yore of Coloma Basketball, and Izak Ruddell of St. Joe Basketball.
