Cailey Rooker of St. Joseph High School Golf is the WSJM Sports 
Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 24, 2017. Cailey won the individual title at the Sturgis Invitational by firing a 79 and helped lead the Bears to the team championship. The next day, St. Joe won the second round of conference competition. Cailey once again earned medalist honors by shooting a 78.
Cailey is also a member of the St. Joe Tennis team, Student Senate, and Orchestra. In the classroom, she carries a 3.93 grade point average.
Cailey is the daughter of Paul and Karen Rooker of St. Joseph.
Other finalists for the week were Kayla Yore of Coloma Volleyball, Nate Nannfeldt of Berrien Springs Football, and Drew Dow of Bridgman Soccer and Cross Country.
