Benton Harbor 67, Dowagiac 57
Benton Harbor won the Class B Regional Championship with a 67-57 victory over Dowagiac.
The Chieftains took a two point lead into the half, but the Tigers erupted for 28 points in the third quarter to take a 56-45 advantage after three quarters. TJ Jones powered the third quarter outburst, scoring 11 of his game high 19 points in the frame. Shawn Hopkins added 16 point for Benton Harbor. Demetrius Lanier led Dowagiac with 17.
Benton Harbor improves to 24-1 and advances to face Williamston Tuesday night in Ionia in the Class B State Quarterfinals. Dowagiac ends the season at 17-6.
