Audrey Dixon, Junior at Niles High School and member of the Bridgman Co-op swim team, is the winner of the Mid-West Family Player of the Week for the week of September 27, 2021.

At the Loy Norrix Invitational on September 18th, Audrey finished first in both the 100 and 200 freestyle, breaking both pool records and qualifying for the Division 1 state meet. In the Preliminary round, she broke the 100 freestyle record, and in the finals, she broke the record that she had just set.

A week later against Battle Creek Lakeview, she was the top point earner, finishing first in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, she was the anchor in the 200 medley relay that finished first, and she was the anchor in the 400 freestyle relay that she brought back from behind to take first.

And then on September 28, Audrey broke the 100 freestyle Bridgman Pool Record, which was previously set by Lauren Kilgore, who is now swimming at the University of Toledo.

And as if dominating in the pool wasn’t enough, Audrey is the president of her school’s FFA program and also carries a 3.8 GPA in the classroom.
