The White Sox had just two hits during the rally. Abreu hit a solo home run, his 14th of the season, in the first. It was just his second home run this month. The All-Star slugger also tied the game at 3 with a single in the sixth. Giolito (7-8) gave up three runs and five hits in six innings during his first career start against the Angels.
