Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete Of The Week – Dylan Jergens

Dylan Jergens of Howardsville Christian High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the weeks of December 23 & 30, 2018.

Dylan finished with 59 points, nine rebounds, and five steals in the Eagles’ win over Holland Calvary. He followed that up with 50 points and ten rebounds in a win over Wellspring Prep.

Dylan is also a member of the Howardsville Christian Soccer team where he earned Honorable Mention All-State honors. In the classroom, he carries a 3.7 grade point average.

Dylan is the son of Tim and Tonya Jergens of Mendon.

Another finalist for the week was Jared Checkley of Decatur Wrestling.
