The Big Ten Conference continues to formalize plans for a spring football season. This is how the structure of the season might look…

-Each team would play an eight game schedule which could begin the first week of January. Games in week one would start on Wednesday and run through the weekend.

-Games would not overlap so as to provide better broadcast coverage.

-Each team would have a bye week.

-All games would be played at neutral sites, most likely domed stadiums in Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and possibly even Syracuse, New York.

-The conference championship game would be played in mid March, possibly at the Rose Bowl.

The Big Ten is also leaving open the possibility of their champion taking on the Pac 12 champion in a traditional Rose Bowl at the end of the season.
