The WSJM Sports Player of the Week for 9/11-9/17 is Gail Vaikutis of St. Joseph girls cross country. Gail is currently a senior at St. Joseph and has a 4.08 GPA. In the Bears 2nd place finish at the Lakeview Inviatiional, Gail finished in first place with a time of 18:00.52. which broke the St. Joseph High School record for a 5,000 kilometer race.
