Pacers Fall To Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks were able to win on Wednesday without two of their top players. The Bucks leaned on Jrue Holiday and had a 21-0 fourth-quarter run to beat the Pacers, 114-99. Holiday had 26 points and 14 assists for Milwaukee, which was tied before opening the fourth quarter on a 25-5 run. Pat Connaughton and Jordan Nwora each scoring eight points during the run and finished with 20 points apiece. The Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo (YAH’-nihs an-teh-toh-KOON’-poh) and Khris Middleton. Antetokounmpo was placed in COVID-19 protocol on Tuesday and Middleton was out with a hyperextended left knee.

Pistons Visit Pacers Tonight
The Pistons are back in action tonight as they tip off against the Pacers on the road. Detroit had been scheduled to play in Chicago on Tuesday, but the game was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Bulls organization. The Pistons are 4-and-22 and looking to snap a 12-game losing streak.

Blackhawks Beat Capitals In Overtime
The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Capitals at home in overtime, 5-4, behind Caleb Jones’ first goal of the season. Alex DeBrincat scored twice on the power play, while Philipp Kurashev also found the back of the net for the first time this year. They scored three times in a 34-second span in the second period. Marc-Andre Fleury made 42 saves to earn a fourth win in his last five starts. They welcome the Predators tomorrow night.

Red Wings Visit Hurricanes Tonight
The Red Wings will skate against the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh tonight. The game had been in question due to COVID-19 concerns with Carolina, which caused their game against Minnesota earlier this week to be postponed. Detroit has been dealing with its own virus issues as forwards Robby Fabbri and Michael Rasmussen were placed into Covid-19 protocols yesterday.

Blackhawks, Kyle Beach Reach Settlement
The Chicago Blackhawks are announcing in a joint statement with Susan Loggans, the attorney representing former prospect Kyle Beach, that they have reached a settlement agreement in the sexual assault lawsuit. Beach alleged that he was sexually assaulted by former video coach Brad Aldrich during the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Team personnel was informed of the incident, but a decision was made not to further investigate during the postseason run. The Blackhawks are scheduled to conduct settlement negotiations on December 20th with a former high school player that was also sexually assaulted by Aldrich.

Michigan Football Signs 23 To Football Class Of 2022
Twenty-three players committed to play football at Michigan during yesterday’s first day of early signing. The Wolverines added six players ranked first in their states, including defensive back Will Johnson from Grosse Pointe South High School. Ten of the early signees will play in postseason all-star games.

MSU Football Commitments
Michigan State football inked 22 commitments to open early signing yesterday. Four-star prospects Antonio Gates junior out of Dearborn Fordson High School and Dillon Tatum from West Bloomfield High are part of the Spartans 2022 recruiting class. MSU also added four transfers to next season’s roster, including former Wisconsin running back Jalen Berger and former Florida defensive end Khris Bogle.

Urban Meyer Out As Jaguars Head Coach
The Urban Meyer experiment in Jacksonville is over. Meyer is out as the Jaguars head coach. The NFL Network reports that Jacksonville offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will serve as the interim head coach for the final four games of the season. Meyer leaves the NFL with a record of 2-and-11. Jacksonville team owner Shad Khan said he was “bitterly disappointed” and that “an immediate change is imperative for everyone.”
