NFL NOTES…
Tight End Jimmy Graham is joining the Bears. Graham was released by Green Bay last Thursday but now has a two year, $16 million deal with the Bears. Graham finished with 28 receptions for 447 yards last year with the Packers.
The Bears also have agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal with former All-Pro defensive end Robert Quinn. Quinn recorded 11 1/2 sacks with Dallas last year despite a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs. The Bears also released outside linebacker Leonard Floyd

Quarterback Philip Rivers has found a new home in Indianapolis. The longtime Chargers star has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Colts, according to a person who spoke to the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the deal cannot become official until Wednesday. Rivers spent his first 16 NFL seasons with the Chargers. The move comes less than seven months after Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement and less than three months after Indy finished a 7-9 season with Jacoby Brissett behind center.

BASEBALL NEWS…
Catcher Jake Rogers was optioned to Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers. Rogers faced a tough competition for playing time after Detroit acquired catchers Austin Romine and Eric Haase in the offseason. Rogers made his big league debut last season, hitting .125 in 35 games. He was obtained by Detroit in the 2017 deal that sent Justin Verlander to the Houston Astros. Opening day has been delayed to mid-May at the earliest because of the new coronavirus.
