Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete Of The Week

Jade Sibley of Marcellus High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 22. In the Wildcats’ win against Lawrence, Jade scored seven points and pulled down five rebounds. Against Schoolcraft, she scored 11 points to go along with nine rebounds. Then in a win against Martin, she finished with 22 points and five rebounds.

Jade is also a member of the Marcellus Volleyball and Softball teams, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and SADD. She was also selected as a finalist for the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Scholar Athlete Award. In the classroom, she carries a 3.81 grade point average

Jade is the daughter of Fred and Mary Sibley of Marcellus.

Another finalist for the week was Joe Wilkins of South Haven Basketball.
