Carter Smith of Decatur High School Basketball is our Sports Radio 1400 WSJM Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of December 6, 2015.
In the Raiders win over River Valley, Carter scored 15 points to go along with four assists, three rebounds, and three steals. He followed that up with 30 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and five steals in a win over Lawrence.
Carter is also a member of the Decatur Baseball team. In the classroom, he carries a 3.7 grade point average.
Carter is the son of Brett and Jodi Smith of Decatur.
