Hayden Sardina of South Haven High School Football is our Sports Radio 1400 WSJM Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of October 18, 2015.
Hayden is an offensive guard for South Haven. In the Rams’ game against Allegan, he anchored an offensive line that allowed Daymion Archuleta to rush for 170 yards.
Hayden is also a member of the South Haven Track team where he throws the shot put and discus. He’s on the honor roll and has received a board of education award. In the classroom, he carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Hayden is the son of Jerry and Malanie Sardina of South Haven.
Another finalist for the week was Hayley Kreiger of South Haven Volleyball.
