Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete Of The Week – Mikenzie Chambers

Mikenzie Chambers of Hartford High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the weeks of February 4, 2018.

In the Lady Indians’ win over Decatur, Mikenzie turned in six points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two blocked shots. Then in a win over Watervliet, she scored 22 points to go along with ten rebounds, five steals, and two blocked shots.

Mikenzie is also a member of the Hartford volleyball and softball teams,National Honor Society, Leadership Club, and School Pride Club. In the classroom, she carries a 3.7 grade point average.

Mikenzie is the daughter of Ben and Kim Chambers of Hartford.
