Mikenzie Chambers of Hartford High School Basketball is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of December 16, 2018.
In the Indians’ game against Decatur, Mikenzie scored 26 points to go along with seven rebounds, five steals, and two blocked shots. She followed that up with 19 points, ten rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots against While Pigeon.
Mikenzie is also a member of the volleyball and softball teams. Chess Club, and The Tribe. This past fall, she earned individual and team Academic All-State honors. In the classroom, she carries a 3.7 grade point average.
