NBA…
Toronto 93, Bulls 92
Zach LaVine missed a runner in the closing seconds as the Bulls fell to Pascal Siakam and Toronto 93-92. Siakam scored 22 points for the Pelicans. With the win, the defending NBA champions ended their first three-game skid since last November. It’s also Toronto’s 11th straight win over the Bulls. Norman Powell added 17 points for Toronto, including six in the fourth quarter. Zach LaVine scored 20 points for Chicago, all in the first half. The Bulls have lost six of eight.

Pistons 105, New Orleans 103
Derrick Rose hit a 14-foot jumper in the lane with 0.3 seconds left and scored 17 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to lift the Detroit Pistons over the skidding New Orleans Pelicans 105-103. With the game tied, Detroit worked an isolation play for Rose, who dribbled the ball out top against Jrue Holiday. Rose drove into the lane, spun to the right and hit the jumper over Holiday’s outstretched arms. Brandon Ingram scored 31 points for the Pelicans, who lost their ninth straight game. Detroit has won four of its last five.

L.A. Clippers 110, Pacers 99
Paul George scored 36 in his first trip to Indianapolis with the Clippers to help power short-handed Los Angeles past the Indiana Pacers 110-99. The former Pacers star was booed repeatedly throughout the game. But he silenced the crowd by making a season-high seven 3-pointers and fueled the two most crucial runs of the game. Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 20 points though it wasn’t enough to prevent their third home loss this season. George is 2-1 at Indianapolis since the Pacers traded him three years ago.
