Tigers And Redskins Win In Holiday Tournament Openers

Benton Harbor opened the game on a 12-2 run on their way to beating the Bison in the opening round of Benton Harbor’s Earl McKee Holiday Tournament. Three Tigers scored in double figures, led by Jaton Gunn’s game high 20 points. Curtis Dawson added 17 and Malik Hall finished with 15. Elisha Dryden and Jarek Hotwagner led the Bison with nine points apiece.

In the first game of the night, Paw Paw held off Bridgman to post a 59-44 win over the Bees to advance to the championship game.

Saturday’s schedule will see BCS rivals Bridgman and New Buffalo face off in the consolation game at 6:00. The nightcap sees Benton Harbor taking on Paw Paw for the tournament title at 8:00. You can hear both games live on Sports Radio 1400 WSJM and online here at wsjmsports.com.
