Nick Stants and Peter Kim of St. Joseph High School Tennis are Berrien County’s Student Athletes of the Week for the week of September 14, 2014. Nick and Peter are the #1 doubles team for the Bears. For the week, they won their match against Holland Christian. They then went on to win the #1 doubles title at the Forest Hills Central Invitational, with wins over Forest Hills Central, Forest Hills Eastern, and Holland Christian.
In the classroom, they both carry a 3.9 grade point average.
Nick is the son of Joe and Cathy Stants of St. Joe. Peter is the son of John and Shawn Kim of St. Joe.
Other finalists for the week were Sidney Weaver of Bridgman/Lakeshore Swimming and Jarrett Thomas of Buchanan Football.
