Sidney Weaver of Bridgman/Lakeshore High School Swimming is Berrien County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of November 15, 2015. At the Division 1 State Finals, Sidney placed 14th overall in the 100 Breaststroke with a new school record time of 1:06.17. She placed 16th overall in the 50 Freestyle with a time of :24.68. She was also part of the 15th place 200 Medley Relay team that broke a school record with a time of 1:50.24.
Sidney is also a member of the Lakeshore Softball team, National Honor Society, DECA, and SADD. In the classroom, she carries a 3.9 grade point average.
Sidney is the daughter of Russ and Mindy Weaver of Stevensville.
Another finalist for the week was Lindsay Marohn of St. Joseph Swimming.
