Ashley Ke of St. Joseph High School Tennis is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of May 7, 2017. Ashley recorded straight set wins over Zeeland East, Portage Northern, and Holland Christian. She ended the week with straight set conference championship wins over Lakeview, Portage Central, and Mattawan.
Ashley is also a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Student Foundations. In the classroom, she carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Ashley is the daughter of Min and Leah Ke of St. Joseph.
Other finalists for the week were Laina Young of St. Joseph Track and Kyle Juza of Lake Michigan Catholic Baseball.
