This week’s Mid-West Family Player of the Week is Rylee Carter, a senior from Countryside Academy High School and member of the boys varsity basketball team.
Rylee has been having an amazing start to the 201-22 season. In the season opener, Rylee scored 36 points in Countrysides 71-69 loss to River Valley. He then followed that up with 24 points against both New Buffalo and Lawrence, before last week going off for 34 points in Countryside’s 69-44 win over Bangor.
Through 4 games, Rylee is averaging 29.5 points, helping lead Countryside to a 2-2 record.
Rylee also plays for the Camp Battlegrounds AAU Basketball team, based out of Benton Harbor.
Countryside’s next game is at home on Friday, January 14th against Marcellus at 7:30 PM
