NBA Round-up From Tues., Dec. 2

Monta Ellis made a go-ahead 3-pointer late in the second overtime that lifted the Dallas Mavericks past the Chicago Bulls 132-129 last night.  Ellis finished with 38 points. Chicago’s Derrick Rose banked in a 3-point at the overtime buzzer to force double OT.  Pau Gasol led the Bulls with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

Kobe Bryant scored 12 straight points for Los Angeles in an impressive flurry in the third quarter as the Lakers beat the Detroit Pistons 106-96 last night.  Bryant was scoreless in the first half.  The Pistons have lost nine in a row.  Josh Smith led Detroit with 18 points.

Goran Dragic scored 34 points as the Phoenix Suns beat Indiana 116-99 last night for their fourth straight victory over the Pacers.  The Suns’ starting guards combined for 22-for-35 shooting.  Dragic matched his season high for a game with 22 first-half points.  C.J. Miles scored 17 for Indiana.
