MSU Defensive End Opts Out Of Season

ESPN is reporting that Michigan State defensive end Jacub Panasiuk has announced that he will redshirt the upcoming football season due to coronavirus concerns.

Panasiuk has started the past two seasons for the Spartans. Last year, he finished with 34 tackles and five sacks. He becomes one of a growing number of college football players that have decided to opt out of the season.

Earlier today, the NCAA directed schools to allow players to opt out due to COVID-19 concerns and that their scholarship commitments must be honored.
