Lakeshore has a long, storied history of excellence when it comes to wrestling, and this year was no different.
Over the weekend, Zam Thompson, Aaron Lucio, and Micah Hanau each brought home 1st place in their respected weight class.
Zam, a senior at Lakeshore, competed in the 145lb. weight class, and won his first state title.
Micah, also a senior at Lakeshore, competed in the 152lb. weight class, and won his second state title (2020).
Aaron, just a junior at Lakeshore, competed in the 135lb weight class, won his first state title and finished off an undefeated season after finishing 2nd in the state in 2021, and 3rd in 2020.
