Lakeshore 61, Big Rapids 60
Lakeshore survived for a 61-60 win over Big Rapids Friday night in the Class B State Semi-Finals.
The Lancers led by three after one quarter. The Cardinals then took a one point advantage into the half and built that to five points after three. The lead exchanged hands in the fourth quarter with Lakeshore hanging on in the end.
Braden Burke led the Lancers with 16 points. Max Gaishin and Gibson Archer each added 15, with Logan Steffes finishing with 11.
Lakeshore advances to take on Detroit Henry Ford Saturday night at 6:30 for the Class B State Championship live on News/Talk 94.9 WSJM. Henry Ford defeated Williamston 70-48 in the other Class B semi-final.
