Butler University has announced that Benton Harbor’s Carlos Johnson has torn the ACL in his left knee and will require surgery. The injury, suffered earlier this month during a workout, will force Carlos to miss the upcoming season.
Carlos was expected to contend for a starting position with the Bulldogs in this, his freshman season.
Carlos is our WSJM Sports Student Athlete of the Year winner for the 2019-2020 school year and was named Michigan’s Mr. Basketball after the conclusion of the season.
