SWIMMING
St. Joseph 96, South Haven 86
Lindsay Marohn, Olivia Clancy, and Georgia Warmbein each had four first place finishes to lead the Bears past the Rams. Marohn won the 50 and 100 freestyle sprints, and swam a leg on the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams. Clancy placed first in the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle, and anchored both winning relays. Warmbein also swam on the winning relays, and took home the top honors in both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke.
St. Joe improves to 2-2 on the season.

SOCCER
Niles 2, Lakeshore 1
Niles defeated Lakeshore 2-1. The Vikings’ Ben Florkowski started the scoring with free kick shot in the second half. The Lancers tied it on Paul Lehmann’s header. Niles quickly responded as Sheldon Mudd found the back of the net with the game winner.

Bangor 3, Saugatuck 1
Juan Rodriguez picked up a hat trick, scoring all three goals in Bangor’s 3-1 win over Saugatuck. Jesus Popoca and Jaime Gil provided assists for the Vikings.

VOLLEYBALL
Coloma 3, Hartford 0
The Comets defeated the Indians 25-11, 25-20, 25-15. Kelly Walter finished with 12 kills, three digs, and eight blocks for Coloma. Kayla Yore added three kills, 17 assists, 18 digs, and two blocks while Jenna Walter contributed one kill, nine assists, five aces, four digs, and one block.

Watervliet 3, Saugatuck 1
Watervliet came away with a win over Saugatuck, downing the Indians 3-1. The Panthers were paced by Katie Schultz’s eight kills, three blocks, and five aces along with Logan Mizwicki’s six kills, eight digs, one block, and three aces. Lexi Kieft added 19 assists and Hannah Armstrong had 14 digs.

Kalamazoo Home School 3, Grace Christian 0
The Patriots fell to Kalamazoo Home School 25-20, 25-8, 25-12. In the loss, Jessica Beukelman led Grace with five kills and five digs. Libby Nevins finished with six assists.

Decatur 3, Martin 0
The Raiders beat the Clippers 25-12, 25-14, 25-22. Decatur got 13 digs and three aces from Irene Horvath. Rebekah Ashley had seven kills and Emily Makowski finished with 26 assists.

Marcellus 3, Bloomingdale 0
The Wildcats defeated the Cardinals 25-5, 25-9, 25-12. Madison Fisher turned in 24 assists for Marcellus. Helis Sala finished with nine kills and Melissa Steinkraus had ten digs.

Gobles 3, Bangor 2
The Tigers earned a hard fought win over Bangor, prevailing 23-25, 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 15-10.
